You gave me valuable information. I know my lack of knowledge makes it difficult for me to explain the issue clearly. However, now I know that it takes time for the posts to be indexed and that is thanks to you.

I am grateful for your help.

Do you mean the SitemapXML I linked or something completely different? Unfortunately you don’t come out with concrete details, so it’s hard to judge what exactly it’s about.

Google needs some time to display the pages contained in a SitemapXML in the Search Console. This depends, among other things, on the number of backlinks to the website – only then Google recognizes the importance of the page and invests in indexing processes. Since I can’t see any abnormality on the part of WordPress, I would recommend you to contact the Google Search Community if you have any further questions: https://support.google.com/webmasters/community?hl=en

The link building with the parameters you mention here as an example has nothing to do with the indexing by Google and also nothing to do with the SitemapXML. They are probably caused by an Ads plugin you use. I could not understand this despite multiple calls to different pages of your website.

Maybe Dennis van Veelen, who came up with the solution for my problem, can help you as.

Good luck!

My concerned originated when I saw that only 6 addresses are shown in Google Search Console. I proceeded to create a new sitemap and only the 6 pages are shown.

I also noticed that the links to the posts changed: https://roomonerd.org/exercises/present-simple-exercises/?_ga=2.7943538.1555120395.1670439994-105088092.1668777369&_gl=1%2A1p30bmd%2A_ga%2AMTA1MDg4MDkyLjE2Njg3NzczNjk.%2A_ga_G8YWKFM1GK%2AMTY3MDU4MTI4My41MS4xLjE2NzA1ODM5MDYuMC4wLjA.

Originally, this link was just like this: https://roomonerd.org/exercises/present-simple-exercises/

I am almost certain this happened after the htaccess was changed. Please pardon my ignorance.

You may want to try changing the following lines in your wp-config file – of course after doing a back-up:

define( ‘DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘localhost/wp’ );
define( ‘PATH_CURRENT_SITE’, ‘/’ );

All the best
Thomas

Dennis van Veelen gave me the key advice.

He told me to update .htaccess and delete everything except the code between BEGIN WordPress and END WordPress.

Now everything is working perfectly fine.

Big thank you to Dennis!

I had created a sitemap that showed all the pages and posts. Now, several pages and posts are not shown.

The following is an example: https://roomonerd.org/be-used-to-get-used-to-used-to/
